Rexburg, Idaho Selects InterLocking Software Corporation for Enterprise E-Government Contract

Seattle, WA, February 19, 2004 – InterLocking Software Corporation, a Northwest-based software vendor and technology services firm, has announced today that the City of Rexburg, Idaho has selected InterLocking Software to implement their Permit and Licensing System. The system will be used by their city employees and will provide a centralized approach to resource, land, and permit management.

The InterLocking system will provide a centralized database for all participating departments, allowing employees across multiple departments to be interconnected and operate more efficiently. All of the processes handled by these departments will be streamlined, including permit application and tracking, building inspection, planning, zoning, licensing, and code enforcement. Regardless of their role in the department, the flexibility of the user interface will allow every employee to access the information they need to complete their jobs.

The City of Rexburg will also be expanding its on-line services to their citizens and local commerce by implementing an access portal that will be powered by the InterLocking System. The portal will increase access to the Rexburg’s permit management activities by allowing businesses to apply for, renew, and track permits directly from the Internet.
